FIESTAS
Palma, Sunday of the Angel. 11.00-18.00: The traditional pilgrimage for the Day of the Angel (honouring Palma's one-time patron, the Guardian Angel). Pipers, children's games, music, giant, human towers, folk dance, mounted police demo and the procession of the Angel. At Bellver Castle. Free buses from 10.00 from C. Camilo José Cela.

This is the biggest of the "pancaritat" pilgrimages-picnics. Others include Alcudia (to the cave of Sant Martí), Inca to the Puig de Santa Magdalena, Llucmajor to the Santuari de Gracia, Soller to Sa Capelleta and Valldemossa to the Santíssima Trinitat hermitage.
