Girl who fell from fifth-floor flat has died

Son Espases Hospital has announced that the girl passed away this morning (Saturday). The hospital explained that she suffered brain death and that she had been kept alive for possible organ donation. Ultimately, though, the cranioencephalic trauma was too severe.

The fall which led to the girl's death was an accident, as National Police investigators confirmed. She had fallen while her father was sleeping and her mother was cooking.
