Two-year-old in critical condition after falling from a first floor

The incident occurred around quarter to eleven in the calle Joan Alcover, which is a street near to the Avenida Gabriel Alomar. It would seem that the boy climbed on a piece of furniture and managed to open a window. He has suffered severe head trauma as a result of the fall.

Witnesses say that a second child, a three-year-old boy, appeared at the window and that their shouts prevented him from potentially falling as well. A woman at the apartment, it is reported, is said to be a nanny.

The National Police are investigating what happened.
