German super model Claudia Schiffer is selling her family home in Camp de Mar to an unnamed central European investor.

Real-estate brokers have been working on a sale for some months. The price is between four and five million euros (believed to be much closer to five than four), and the final decision as to the price depends on some loose ends that Schiffer wishes to tie up.

This is not the first Majorcan property that Schiffer has sold. In 2005, her finca in Cap Andritxol in Puerto Andratx was sold to a Russian businessman for eleven million euros. She continued to come to the island each summer and stay at her parents' house in Camp de Mar, which is the one being sold.

However, she hasn't visited as often as was once the case. She had typically always celebrated her birthday on the island every August and enjoyed family holidays with film director husband Matthew Vaughn, a keen golfer, and their three children, Caspar, Clementine and Cosima. The last set of photos of her and the family on the island were taken in 2012.

With the sale, it is possible that she will end her association with Majorca, which she has in the past promoted. This was the case at the Berlin ITB fair in 2005, when she was at the Balearic stand and helped the promotion of the government's green card (tarjeta verde or grüne Karte in German).

Traditionally, she would always celebrate her birthday on the island every August and enjoyed family holidays with film director husband Matthew Vaughn, a keen golfer, and their three children, Caspar, Clementine and Cosima.

Movie industry friends of Vaughn, such as blockbuster actor Jason Statham, have in the past joined the Schiffers here in Majorca, providing excellent publicity for the island.
