Yesterday's World Cup qualifying football match between England and Scotland provoked a street battle in Magalluf's Punta Ballena between rival fans.
Chairs, tables, bottles and glasses were thrown, and there were some injuries.
The Guardia Civil and local police turned up. The groups had by then dispersed, but three individuals were identified. The local police have announced today they were fined and paid on the spot.

The Cancer of British Football Hooligans has reared its ugly head ,again !. The combination of ignorant hooligans and alcohol, creates mass brawls throughout Europe. How I wish The Guardia could arrest the majority of these scum, put them in prison, and demand several thousand Euros Bail money, to get them released and sent back to the UK.
They are NOT football fans. They are violent troublemakers. They should have been put on the next plane home - at their own expense - and never be allowed back into Mallorca.
What a disgrace. Look at them, all pasty white, drunk, ugly. A total embarrassment to our country. Lock them all up and throw away the key. Let there be no one questioning Mallorca trying to get Magaluf more upmarket. We need to lose this scum from our Island.
