Es Trenc beach and beaches adjoining it now have sunloungers and parasols. On Friday, 523 sets were installed, Campos town hall having made the award for the concession the day before.

Beachgoers on Friday were by and large able to use the sunloungers for free, but the tariff collectors are now operating. The services are available in the places where they previously were, i.e. next to where the demolished chiringuito bars were. Prior to the sunloungers being installed, algae was removed. Tons of it have been deposited behind the dunes.

There should be more than the 523 sets, as the single largest lot (of 215) has yet to be put out to tender. It may well not be awarded at all. There has been an unfavourable report from the government's land ministry. Likewise, no tender is currently planned for the replacement, demountable chiringuitos. It is becoming ever more unlikely that there will be bars this summer. They have to be in different locations to the old ones, which is causing a headache for water and electricity supplies.

Facilities, including obviously toilets, are therefore confined to the yacht club in Sa Rapita, in Colonia Sant Jordi, at the restaurant in the Salobrar car parking zone, and in Ses Covetes.
