The fourth airport to tourist resorts bus service started operating yesterday. The Aerotib route from the airport to Cala d'Or also serves Arenal, Llucmajor, Campos, S'Alqueria Blanca, Santanyi and Portopetro. In Llucmajor, the bus stops in the Son Noguera industrial estate, so it offers a transport option for workers there.

No point in running busses if you are only going to do half a job ? People will arrive expecting public transport only to find its about as useful as a chocolate tea pot....,,
Very good new about the bus service from the airport. The last bus to take use from the airport to Santanyi is however no good because it is not linked to the late Easy Jet flight from Liverpool.
sure, any major airport should have public transportation.this make sense, but as for "majorcan taxi drivers robbing people blind"-I am not so sure. They are hardworking guys who clearly benefit from a surge in visitors, but fares are not "crazy", and more to the the point, they are mostly reasonable even in the face of inebriated coastal tourists and work some tough shifts...
Oh,dear, the taxi drivers won't like that, far fewer people to rob blind.
