A major concert bringing together some of the best-loved music from British cinema is taking place tomorrow night at Bellver Castle as a tribute to the late James Bond director, Guy Hamilton, who died at his Andratx home last year. The concert is part of the Atlántida Film Fest which is taking place until early next month across Palma. The Chamber Film Orchestra led by Smerald Spahia will be performing the concert and it is widely rumoured that former Bond Girl Britt Ekland will be attending. The Chambeer Film Orchestra will be performing Mallorca Plato Musical by the Majorcan composer Miguel Angel Aguilo, Goldfinger (John Barry), Live and Let Die (Paul McCartney), Diamonds Are Forever (John Barry), Funeral in Berlin (Konrad Elfers), The Man With the Golden Gun (John Barry) and Murder Under the Sun (Cole Porter). There will also be a tribute to music from James Bond film. The concert starts at 8.30p.m. and it is free but you must register on the website.
