Danish child drowns at rural holiday finca

The Guardia Civil say that everything points to a tragic accident. The child woke up before his parents and, without them noticing, went outside to the pool area. It would seem that he fell into the water.

When his father found that he wasn't in his cot, he went to look for him. At around a quarter past eight, he discovered his body floating in the pool.

Emergency medical services, Guardia Civil and Llucmajor police went to the property. Medics attempted to revive the child but were unable to.
