Hooded robbers beat up Cala Pi hotel receptionist

At around 4am, two men wearing hoods burst into the reception at the Aparthotel Ona Cala Pi Club. They pounced on the female receptionist and began hitting her in the face in order to get her to reveal where money was stored. Because she was shouting, they gagged her and locked her in a room.

They were able to get away with 600 euros from the safe. Several guests, who heard her shouts, as well as a security guard alerted the emergency services. The Guardia Civil, Llucmajor police and ambulance attended the scene. The receptionist is said to have suffered some severe injuries.
