Negotiations between the national ministry of development, Aena, the government's Enaire company and unions are edging towards a possible resolution of the dispute over pay and jobs. At the meeting last week there was an agreement to suspend strike action, which was due to start on 15 September and involve all airports in the Aena Spanish airport network.

Having worked at Heathrow Airport I hope that the workers get a raise etc. But I know that the management will want to run the airport at the cheapest possible price. As has happened at Heathrow and the service is now crap.
Nice one John P. My trouble is they won,t let me cancel and believe me i have tried. Portugal next year. 7 adults, 3 kids £3.900 .Majorca £4.962 .Cant beat it.
so is it all take take take or what do the customers/Government get out of this.
I may come in October, but will wait for further info. on their strike proposals. Tourist tax could be used to give the workers a pay rise. In fact all workers.
Too late. Was coming back October but booked cheap flight to Crete!
