Showers and storms likely in Majorca this week

There were some isolated storms with fairly heavy rain in areas today and Aemet is forecasting that there will be more this week. Temperatures are expected to drop slightly on Wednesday and storms are probable in Majorca and the rest of the Balearics on Thursday.

More rain is likely on Friday, though the temperature is forecast to rise. A cold front is due to affect parts of the northern mainland of Spain from Friday, though it is not described as a very strong front. Temperatures should in fact increase over the weekend in the Mediterranean, though Aemet anticipates a "generalised drop" in temperatures on Monday next week.
