Heavy rain in the Balearics today

Heavy rain is forecast for the Balearics today (Friday) with temperatures down to around 22C.

Aemet reports that temperatures are expected to drop by as much as ten degrees tomorrow in parts of Spain. A cold front is affecting most of Spain, bringing snow at around 2,000 metres to the Pyrenees. In the Balearics there are yellow alerts today for rain and storm. Rain is also possible tomorrow. Sunday should see a notable improvement, but the unsettled pattern will continue into next week.

Lovely rain !!. We can not live without water. The Island gets a wash, the dust disappears , the reservoirs start to fill. The flora and fauna get a much needed drink. Everywhere starts to look green, and it is lovely and cool. BUT--" Mozzies " rapidly start breeding on pools of water.!!!!.
