Following some days of warm and fine weather in Majorca, from Sunday a cold front will affect the holiday weekend and what is the official first day of the summer season - 1 May (which is also when the tourist tax doubles).
There has been rain in parts of the island this morning, and there could be the odd storm. The wind is strong as well. Aemet suggests that the front will be most evident on Tuesday. Highs will struggle to reach 20C, and there could even be a bit of snow at the very highest levels.
The outlook for the rest of the week is mixed. Temperatures are due to rise by Thursday, but they are forecast to go down again on Friday, when some showers are possible.

Thank you S for helping clear this up.)) I love when its 30-40 degress, that what we are after, Denmark is so could the most of the year.
How I wish the mid Summer months were more temperate, as now in May. I struggle when they reach 30 to 40 *C. To Bob---The Tourist Tax will be increased every year. Tourists will just have to pay the levy, as they Check In to their Hotels.Or, they do not get a room, at the very tired point of their travelling arrival. In other words TOURISTS HAVE NO OPTION.
What, is the tourist tax going double the 1th of may? What does that mean for us, the tourists?
