Police forces combining to stop thefts in Palma

In a statement issued yesterday, the National Police and Palma police explained that since June officers from the two forces have been working together in order to prevent thefts and minor crimes during the summer season. The joint operation came into effect at the start of the summer, from which time there was an increase in the number of people, especially tourists during shop opening hours.
