Some 300 people were ordered out of a club in Puerto Andratx on Sunday morning after someone let off a pepper spray.

The incident occurred at around quarter to five. Local police and an emergency service ambulance went to the scene, where a dozen or so clubgoers required treatment. None needed to be taken to hospital.

The police cleared the premises, and an inspection revealed certain deficiencies which could lead to a fine or to the possible closure of the club.

It was a busy night for the police. The fiestas' night party was taking place, and they had to deal with some fights and individuals who had drunk too much.
