The Guardia Civil arrested seven people for drugs offences yesterday after dawn raids on addresses in Magalluf and Palmanova.
A building on the calle Punta Ballena was one of the targets. Quantities of cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy and cash were seized. A couple and their teenage daughter were arrested at an apartment in the Edificio Olivia in Son Caliu. Those arrested are Spanish, Romanian, Cuban and Senegalese. The Guardia Civil is said to have been investigating the group for some weeks in connection with the sale and distribution of drugs in Magalluf and other resorts.
There were also raids in Vallecas, Madrid, where a group of drugs traffickers was believed to be linked to those in Majorca.
