A total of 46 businesses in Calvia have been closed in the last year for breaking the law and more than a third of them were in Magalluf, particularly in Punta Ballena. 65% of the places inspected were sanctioned for causing noise pollution in the area by having their doors open when music was playing; 34% were closed down completely for playing music without a licence and the other 1% were sited for playing music too loud.

Most bars, restaurants, nightclubs and hotels close at the end of the season, not because the authorities would close them. The large travel companies focus on other destinations, which is why the owners themselves decide to close at the end of the season.
So when are they going to Target the Prostitutes and their Minders and the Pick pockets???
They were going to clean up shagaluf 10 years ago, money talks clearly...
Well that what you have just published is a load of bull I live and work on the main strip and not one bar has been closed by calvia , I could be wrong but a news paper I think you should go back to calvia and ask for a list .
