The second call for the family holiday program 'Gaudeix l'illa', which is subsidised by the Consell de Mallorca, has now opened and 1,000 vouchers worth 200 euros each are up for grabs.
A 200,000 euro subsidy has been allocated for the second call and will be distributed amongst 18 hotels in Majorca with a maximum of 3 in Palma, Sierra de Tramuntana, Es Raiguer, Es Pla, Levante and Migjorn.
The initiative benefits hotels on the island and guarantees occupancy between October and November.
All participating hotels must have less than 50 rooms, offer a room for two adults, for two nights, including bed and breakfast for a total price of 250 euros.
The Mallorca Turismo Foundation will pay 200 euros of that and guests will pay just 50 euros.
The 'Gaudeix l’illa' program offers 2,000 people the opportunity to enjoy a holiday in Majorca between October 15 and November 30.
Applications must be received before October 2 and guests must be over 18 years old and resident in Spain. If more than 1,000 applications are received a draw will be held before a notary.
