Government delays "lockdown" for 24 hours

Breaking news Restaurants, bars and large stores given 24 hour life-line

Bars and restaurants will be allowed to open until Wednesday.

The Balearic government has decided to suspend the near total lockdown of bars, restaurants and big shopping complexes for 24 hours.

The new restrictions were due to come into force tomorrow but they will now be introduced on Wednesday at midnight.
