European Union member states could take AstraZeneca to court for a breach of supply contracts if the company does not honour the COVID-19 vaccine delivery schedule, Latvian foreign affairs minister Edgars Rinkevics said on Tuesday.

How can you sue AZ for not delivering a product that the EU has not even approved yet?
Upsetting the vaccine manufacturers seems a very dangerous game to play. 8 months ago the EU was not so keen on shelling out for the vaccine, if I remember correctly. That is what comes when you put politics before people, as future elections will no doubt show.
