I am booked for Mallorca from 24th May 4 people for 2 weeks but will cancel now. We have all been vaccinated and I think Malorca is crazy to allow unvaccinated people into the island for a short term gain and the loss of the whole season if the virus spreads again, it is not going away until all are vaccinated.
This is yet another illustration of the weakness and or ineptness of the Balearic government...rubbing its hands in glee that it will get some arrivals from Germany irrespective of the local or external situation, and rolling over to the desires of airlines and tour operators. Thank goodness that some of the people in authority back in Germany realise that now is not actually the right time and is advising their citizens 'not to travel' now but wait a bit longer for a more positive experience in the weeks ahead.
