The Balearic health minister, Patricia Gómez, announced on Thursday that the public health commission will request that people aged between 65 and 69 are given the AstraZeneca vaccine. Until now, people of this age have been receiving either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. Gómez stressed that this scenario is subject to change and did not rule out the AstraZeneca vaccine being dispensed to people under the age of 60 in the more or less immediate future.

More information regarding AstraZenica. Being cynical is this a case of let's find out which age group it doesn't harm or kill? Initially not over 70's, then it was only up to 55's, then up to 60's. Now only to be given to 65-69's. There is obviously a problem with this particular vaccine and more people are becoming frightened and reluctant to accept this vaccine, especially older people. Perhaps the government should all have it first as they seem dedicated to causing problems to the older community. From the currently scientific evidence availability, please give me Pfizer.
