Waiting until the situation is back like in summer 2019.
Do something about the rental car and accommodation costs.. very inhibitive
Don’t worry Olaf us Brits will not be coming to Majorca anymore and once we have sold our properties we will be going elsewhere. The welcome from Armengol was a joke surely as now we hear the same day Majorca wants tougher entry controls for Brits?? Adios amigos enjoy your empty beaches and sun loungers.
Olaf - PHE latest technical report (released this Friday) shows 1st dose of 78% effective against Alpha, and 80% effective against Delta. Increasing to 93% and 96% respectively. In summary - the vaccines are actually more effective at protecting from hostpilisation and death.
Utter madness. We may be a safe holiday destination but only pending the India variante completely desroying the season for Mallorca. We cannot afford letting people in from a country where infection rates are going through the ceiling on a virus variant that does not even respond to 1 time vaccinations. Please stay away so that we can at least have a season with other tourists. This is a big bad mistake and everybody here is very much worried about the India/delta.johnson variant propellong us back to square one after all that effort.
