The local ministry for health announced this morning that there had been 775 new cases of Covid in the Balearics in the last 24 hours and there are 282 people in hospital suffering from the virus.

The local authorities said this morning that there had been an increase in the number of people who had been hospitalised with Covid (16 more cases).

On Friday 864 new cases were reported so infections are in decline although the figure remains high.
