A 65-year-old woman died on Saturday morning after a fire broke out in her apartment in Palma.

Emergency services were called to a fire on the sixth floor of an apartment building on the Calle Eusebio Estada (number 107).

The Palma Fire Brigade are now investigating the cause. The fire did not spread to other apartments.
