'San Gwann' docks in Ibiza port

The manoeuvres were carried out after the FRS Refloating Plan was approved by the Maritime Captaincy and in order to refloat the ‘San Gwann’ in the shortest possible time the operation took place overnight, beginning at 22:00 and finishing at 01:00 when she docked in Ibiza.

The cause of the incident is being investigated by the authorities and FRS is in direct contact with passengers who were onboard.

The shipping company thanked the crew of the 'San Gwann' for looking after the passengers until they were rescued by the emergency services.
