It might be an idea if you get on your bike this weekend because more than 37 roads across 28 municipalities will be closed for some periods on Sunday as a result of a cycling event.

The announcement this morning comes after widespread criticism last weekend of the Ironman even in Alcudia which also led to road closures.

The local authorities are warning the public to be prepared.
