From the sea all the way to the summit for Royal Navy crew in Mallorca

34km and an ascent of 1600m in just 2 days!

While many members of the crew of the visiting Royal Navy flagship, Queen Elizabeth, discovered the joys of Palma others hit the mountains.

This group completed part of the GR 221 Dry Stone Route.

Whilst many of HMSQNLZ opted for time ashore in Palma’s Old Town.

In total it was an ascent of 1,600 metres and 34 kilometres but the view was certainly worth it.

They certainly got their land legs again!
