An investigation has been launched in Binissalem after a man was found dead in his home.

Police and emergency services were called to the home of the 37-year-old after a relative discovered the body.

The victim's name has not been released, but officers have confirmed that he is Spanish.

The man suffered several blows to the head, but the exact cause of death won't be known until after the autopsy has been completed.
