The Bulletin received messages of support for the launch of the new website from numerous famous personalities who have connections with Mallorca.
Sir Richard Branson, who will be opening a new hotel in Banyalbufar next year, wished us all the best while Lord Jeffrey Archer congratulated us on a job well done. There were also messages from Chris Reason of Channel 7 news in Australia, whose connection with the Bulletin goes back to the days of Australian tycoon Christopher Skase. The British ambassador to Spain said that he would be raising a glass to us.

Future-proof and highly professional re-launch of an excellent multimedia news service that packs a massive punch globally. MDB strikes me as a much-loved institution that has, for many decades, played an integral role in the positive, welcoming projection of the Baleárics on the world stage. I majored in English Lit and totally disagree with the first comment. The quality of the reporting is consistently top notch. There are an inordinate number of good scribes on this island, Jason and Humphrey first amongst them. Well done and congratulations to everyone that has worked so hard to make this happen.
While I too wish you all the best, I hope that this relaunch improves the quality of the reporting which recently has reached new lows.
