A woman died on Thursday afternoon after the Renault Kangoo she was driving was in collision with a heavy goods vehicle.

The emergency services were called at around 4pm to the accident on the Felanitx-Portocolom road.

A motorcyclist was unable to brake in time and collided with another vehicle. He and the other drivers involved were injured but not seriously.

The Guardia Civil are investigating the cause of the accident.
