A 45-metre luxury yacht, the Aria SF, caught fire on Thursday afternoon and became totally engulfed by flames.

Around 5pm, the yacht was in the Cala Saona area of Formentera when the alarm was raised. The Maritime Safety Agency evacuated nine passengers, while the seven crew remained on board and attempted to contain the fire. But they soon had to be taken off as well, as the fire was totally out of control.

I didn’t realise playing Super Yacht Bingo could be so dangerous. Explosions and fires, dropping anchor in protected zones, it’s like the Wild West. Whatever next?

This Fire and another exploded. Makes me think they could be suspicious Insurance Claims.
