Lisa JuliaYes, but unfortunately it’s Madrid calling the shots on all things port and coast. Money in the pocket for them, pollution in the sea and in the air for Palma and elsewhere.
Mallorca has an opportunity. An opportunity to ban these environmental monsters and to lead the world in setting the standard for sustainable tourism. This article proves that cruise ships are not environmentally safe. They will destroy the crystal waters that the islands are so famous for. They are an environmental disaster. Let’s hope the Mallorca wakes up to the danger - before it’s too late.
