A 74-year-old man was seriously injured on Thursday afternoon after falling down some stairs while doing work at his home in Palma.

Around 4pm, emergency services were called to a building on Avenida Argentina in Palma. The city's fire brigade went to the scene as well as ambulances and police. The road had to be closed for a time to allow medics to act as rapidly as possible.
