Emergency services attend to a drowning incident in Mallorca

An 80-year-old man drowned on Wednesday afternoon in Puerto Andratx.

He had been with family members on a boat off Es Racó des Murter. The alarm was raised around 5pm. Lifeguards, local and port police and medics went to the scene but were unable to save him.

Witnessed this very unfortunate incident today. My heart and thoughts go out to the family who lost their loved family member.
