Around 3pm on Sunday afternoon, a boat at the marina in Colonia Sant Pere caught fire and then sank, as did a boat that was next to it and which was affected by the fire.

A 47-year-old person was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation and burns to the legs.

The Guardia Civil and Mallorca Fire Brigade are investigating the cause of the fire.
