A ten-metre sailboat caught fire on Saturday off S'Estanyol (Llucmajor). The fire started in the stern for reasons now being investigated.

There were a number of calls to the emergency services by people who witnessed flames coming from the boat around 11.30.

The Mallorca Fire Brigade was quickly on the scene and put out the fire.
