The Guardia Civil report having rescued a 46-year-old Spanish woman after she suffered a sprained ankle while hiking in the area of the Cornavaques cave in Pollensa on Friday.

The mountain rescue unit went to the scene around 5pm. A helicopter was brought in and it was able to land on the rocky terrain. She was helped in and then flown to Son Espases Hospital.
