A Romanian man was arrested following an incident in Palma on Saturday morning and charged with attempted abduction, attempted sexual assault and causing injury.
This happened by a large Chinese store on the Manacor road. A young woman who was with her mother was suddenly grabbed by the man, who tried to drag her to his van. He was shouting - "Come with me and we'll have a good time."
As the woman was struggling with him, her mother hit him with a bag. Their screams alerted passers-by and customers and employees in the store and in a restaurant. They managed to detain the man and waited until the police arrived. It was established that he had attacked another woman some time earlier on Saturday.
The woman required treatment for an anxiety attack and for cuts and bruises. Witnesses said that they had seen the man taking drugs prior to the incident.

It's ok he was on drugs that seems to be a legit excuse for any crime now.
