Residents of Son Gotleu in Palma demand the expulsion of Algerians

In the history of the world there have always been immigrants. New York was built by immigrants and Florida couldn't operate today without its Latin immigrants. The vast majority of these immigrants were/are hard working and looking to build a better life for themselves and their families through hard graft and blending with the locals. The immigrants pouring into Spain and in this case the Son Gotleu district of Palma arrive with none of these ambitions and values. Without a cent or a clean T-shirt to their name they believe the world owes them a living while coveting the local's homes and possessions. They're already on a downward spiral and being jobless and homeless turn to crime to raise cash. Allowing these foreign nationals into the country in the first place was the biggest mistake but now they're here the Government needs a plan. Either deport or assist but ignoring them or continually arresting them isn't the long term solution.

This is the reality of a government encouraging the tail to wag the dog. Allowing minorities to call the shots in any part of a nation is a recipe for disaster. It is time for countries across the globe to put their citizens first, and recognise that tens of millions of illegal immigrants have only one aim. That is to get as rich as possible, as quickly as possible, by committing as much crime as possible.

So they tolerated: Spanish gypsies, Nigerians, Moroccans and other African people but not the Algerians? That really says something. What a craphole it must be to live in. At least they are trying to do something. I doubt the law or the Govt will do anything to help though.
