A six-year-old French boy drowned on Sunday afternoon in a hotel swimming pool in Playa de Palma. The alarm was raised shortly before 6pm when the boy was seen floating in one of the pools. The boy had no vital signs and medics, having done all they could to revive him, were only able to certify his death. The National Police are in charge of the investigation into what happened.
