Charles Dalrymple-ChumleyExactly. The number of accidents baffles me as well. For all the balconies that I had a chance to see in Mallorca, none seem to be low enough to facilitate accidental tripping of and falling from.
Stan The ManSince when do you need warning signs how to behave on a balcony? Better give the UK guests rooms with NO balconies as they do not understand how to use it.
I wonder what island locals think about tourists seemingly inability to walk onto a balcony without feeling the urge to jump or without the curiosity to discover what's below and defying gravity to find out. They must be in disbelief that balconies represent such a challenge/problem/curiosity to holidaymakers.
Every Season there are Tourists who fall from Balconys. There has to be major warning notices put on every balcony. Otherwise more accidents and deaths will continue to occur. This has to be a Top Priority for everywhere in Mallorca. Falling from Balconys must stop now.
