Mallorca in twentieth place against Lugo in seventh: one team battling relegation, the other with eyes on a play-off spot (Levante and Girona, the top two, have very clear water between themselves and the play-off hopefuls).
Brandon nearly gave Mallorca a lead in the second minute when his header went close. If this hinted at good times ahead, they were dashed when Lugo striker Caballero scored from a corner after sixteen minutes. Lugo were dominating possession and offering far more of a goalscoring threat until Mallorca sprang more into life as the break approached, and Domínguez's fortieth minute effort was deflected past the post.
In the second period, very little was happening for Mallorca. Ansotegi headed just past from a Brandon cross with fifteen minutes left, and then, with four minutes left, Lekic headed in the equaliser. Dalmau struck the woodwork immediately afterwards, as Mallorca desperately sought the winner, which wasn't to come.

Hola,, Real Mallorca need some confidence built into the Teams performance , they have talent in Players like Brandon, and all MUST continue in giving nothing less than 101% Believe in yourselves and go for it, ,with very best wishes for all wins in April and hope to be there for the 8th April game against Gimnastic Tarragona With a little bit of LUCK....Regards Tom Lattimore
That was a terrible performance. In general cannot fault the commitment of the players, but either they are not good enough or, more importantly, the coaching and tactics are awful. They are incapable of taking the opposition by surprise, and if they do, the finishing is really poor - too many wrong decisions made in and around penalty area. Lekic got the goal, but what a useless lump he is, Brandon is even worse, totally lost his way from the promising player he use to be. Angelino is a star in the making, but cannot do it on his own.
