After two drawn games, Mallorca rediscovered their winning touch against the Valencia B team, but it took a goal just before the end of normal time from Álex López to give them the three points.

Dominated play most of time, Valencia did not offer much of an attacking threat, but Mallorca seem to be a bit more laboured in build up play than they were earlier in season. Sevilla, basically a gifted midfielder, but in last two games his legs have gone during second half and he has given the ball away needlessly too often.
