Twelve voices with a “boyband feel”

The Three Tenors - Carreras, Domingo, Pavarotti - started it all off in 1990, since when other tenors’ combinations have come along.

There are currently, for example, The Tenors (aka Canadian Tenors), The Ten Tenors from Australia, and The Kingdom Tenors, who were on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. The Twelve Tenors are from Germany, although their members are from elsewhere, including the UK. They are at present on their Celebration Tour, the 15th anniversary of the singing group, the dates over the next few weeks all being in Germany, except for a hop over to Palma. Well, it has been said that Mallorca is Germany’s 17th state.

Pop and rock anthems meet the likes of ‘Nessun Dorma’ for a spectacular show, which their website says combines classical traditions with a “boyband feel”.
