l Dear Sir,
Our local paper, here in England, is full of reports of cars being broken into and complaints that the police are not interested.
It came as something of a surprise last week, whilst on holiday in Majorca, that, having parked our rented car in the car park at Cala San Vincente we returned to it after a 20 minute walk to find the passenger window smashed!
Nothing was taken from the car there wasn't anything in it to take but it did waste half a day arranging a replacement car.
I contacted the police and, surprise, surprise, they weren't interested!
I could call into Pollensa and report it but, as I had no idea where the police station was in Pollensa, I didn't bother!
Seems the English way of life is truly taking over in Majorca!
