Dear Sir,

IN this weeks News of the World they have reported an increase in airport taxes by 500%. quote: - the chancellor's proposed rise pushing the tax in Europe up by 500 per cent to £30 a passenger - is another massive blow to airlines and the holiday industry. Like me and others we save our money so we can take the children on holiday to European countries so they get to learn how other people live.
And having a strong connection with Majorca and have been travelling there since 1990.
We have lived there and had many visitors from the United Kingdom but with this new proposal we may only be able to take them to Majorca once a year if we are lucky. With all the English living out there it will make it difficult for their families to visit I feel we are being done by the chancellor plus he's also stated “flying is a non-essential activity.” I'd like to know how he gets around the world -- on foot or what?
At this rate my family and I will just have to pack up and move back to Majorca.
Yours
Mrs J Kiely.
