BORIS JOHNSON , Mayor of London, named yesterday by GQ magazine as the most influential person in Britain in 2012 , in its annual award. In second place was Sir Jeremy Heywood, Cabinet Secretary, in third place his boss David Cameron and in fourth place Michael Gove, Education Minister. The list is not a particularly impressive one -- if these really were the most influential people last year no wonder Britain is in the doldrums.
