Dear Sir,

I thought we were in a crisis situation but Calvia Council are removing the lamp standards from the Palma Nova to Santa Ponsa motorway.
First they removed the globes, now the main standards are going. There must be nearly a hundred or more of them.
Why did not they leave the lights turned off to save money?
Removing must be costing a large amount. It is also disrupting traffic now the tourists are coming.
I just hope that this is not going to the residents taxes will be higher this year?
Where is the money coming from for this?
